A Nice Welcome Back

Tim Reed recently came back to the island and received a nice welcome from this big bonefish. Tim was fishing with guide Garth Thompson when he caught this bonefish on a Gotcha fly.

Exuma Permit
People often ask if it's possible to fish for permit while on the island. They're not as common as bonefish but they are out there! My suggestion is - be prepared for anything.
You never know what to expect when you're out on the water.

This 30lb permit was landed with an 8 wt fly rod with 12 lb tippet.

Sandals Resorts International has purchased the Four Seasons Resort Great Exuma at Emerald Bay. The 500-acre property, which features a championship Greg Norman golf course and world-class marina, is set to become a Sandals Resort and will be called Sandals Emerald Bay, Great Exuma, Bahamas.
